What are the costs to host the conference?
- We only ask that you guarantee 25 couples total to purchase tickets for the conference.
They could all be from your church or organization, or you could partner with other churches, bookstores, and businesses. This is the minimum attendance and income for us to host the conference - we look for more than this to attend but this is the minimum.
- We ask that you cover Dr. Moeller's travel costs.
This includes his airfare or mileage reimbursement, hotel costs, and meals.
We recommend a budget of $300-$500.
Dr. Moeller travels from Chicago, IL.
Tickets
- Conference tickets are $30 per person
Tickets include the conference, Dr. Moeller's book For Better, For Worse, For Keeps, conference notebook, conference pen and FREE registration to 4 weeks of Dr. Moeller's conference follow-up emails.
Tickets are sold through www.MarriageVine.com, (866) 569-5262 and through the Host Church/Organization.
What will MarriageVine do?
- Pay Dr. Moeller’s honorarium and coordinate his travel needs
- Create and print promotional materials at no cost to you! We make a 3.5"x8.5" flyer and 11"x17" poster - as many as you need!
- Take registrations online and by phone
- Promote the conference in the local and surrounding communities
- Send related marriage books for a conference bookstore
- Keep track of all registrations and supply a complete registration roster for the conference
- Provide guests with a conference book, conference notebook, pen, and discipleship emails for follow-up
Other requirements:
- We need 6-8 of volunteers to assist with registration, selling resources, distributing notebooks and .
- Audio/Visual needs are simply a wireless lapel or ear mic and the ability to run powerpoint through a projection system which has a monitor on the stage or "cheat screen" in the back of the auditorium.
